What “Promoted” means

Callboard is paid for by employers. Here is how the ads work.

A promoted role is a listing an employer paid to feature for fourteen days. It appears first in search, with a Promoted label, and may run in the newsletter.

We do not let employers buy a better rating, hide a salary, or bury a competitor. The job is the same job. The placement is what they bought.

Featured employers rent a home-page and search slot for a month. Newsletter sponsors buy one issue. Prices are on the Advertise page. If you are hiring, that is the inventory.

We label every paid unit. If you ever see a listing that looks editorial and is not marked, write to us. Trust is the product. Ads pay for the board; they do not get to impersonate it.
